Track / report of automaticly sent mails to customers

Hi community,

is there a way to track the mails JIRA sent automaticly to customers, e.g. when they created a new issue in customer portal JIRA sends an automatic mail to the creator of the ticket to confirm that we got the new issue and take care of it.

We need a way to track these sent mails and create a report about that, so we can see when a mail was not sent (because of issues with the mailserver or anything like that).

Can you help me?

Thank you all!

Cheers, Lars

As you are using server then you will be using your own mail server vs cloud where you could be using their hosted mail server. As such you can work with your IT group to get reports from the mail server. I don’t believe there is a way in Jira itself but am not 100% sure about server.
