Transition (through rest api) does not change issue state correctly

Good day everyone!

There are a JIRA instance and custom mobile application.

Mobile application can be used to perform transitions in JIRA issues through JIRA rest api. And it work fine mostly. However sometimes, transition is completed, there is a record in issue's change history, that transition was completed successfuly but in fact issue is still in previous status, it even shows in issue navigator previous status and all of the transitions available in previous status, are available at this state (even if in the change history there is record about successful transition).

I added transition from last status to itself and reused it from previous status to last status, and when I perform this transition it fix effects of the bug, but I want to find a way to prevent it

I would run the Integrity checker in the above case as I suspect you have an issue in wrong status problem.

This is the best place to start from.
