Hi y'all!
Our hierarchy is Feature -> Story -> Sub-task. The Feature/Story relationship is created by the linked issue type "Derivation". So the derivation of the feature is the story... the story is derived from the feature.
We have a status in our workflow entitled "Blocked". I need a script that would move the feature into the blocked status any time a story that is derived from that feature is moved into the blocked status.
Thanks for you help! :)
Ok, a couple of samples from my lot:
https://library.adaptavist.com/entity/transition-an-issue-using-issue-input-parameters is the one I copy and paste when I want to transition an issue.
https://library.adaptavist.com/entity/transition-issues-returned-from-a-jql-search might be handy if you want to trigger the transition from a search
And https://library.adaptavist.com/entity/copy-field-value-from-linked-issue gives you the basics of working with links
Thanks, Nic. However, I'm not familiar enough with coding to be able to piece these together and make something that does what I need. :(

Hi @Laci I'm sorry, but you should not expect that anyone here will provide complete solution for you.
It is community, not paid service which usually provides complete solutions. I think @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- provided great sources which can be used, but you need to work on it and if you have problem with script, feel free to come back and we can provide you some guidance...
