Two Link Types

Richard Li January 30, 2023

Hi, there are 2 Link types: "discover while testing" and "testing discovered"

What are the differences between these 2 types?

Thanks

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

This is a question for your administrators - neither of those names are standard Jira default link names, your admins have created them, or added an app that needs them (presumably a test management app)

Also, I can't see if this is one link type or two.  Links have a direction and the names you have given us could be the display of a single type of link.  If you create a link between issue X and issue Y, and use a link type of (say) "test link", then it is one link of one link type, but X will display "discover while testing", and Y will display "testing discovered".  But they could equally be two link types - an admin has created a second type of link that means the same as the first (in this case, you'll want to check how much each link type is used and merge them, to reduce confusion)
