Suddenly we are unable to assign any user to an issue. I have been browsing the internet looking for an answer, with no result.
The Assignable user permission is set correctly. And the Assign issues as well.
What are we doing wrong? Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

I am experiencing the same issue. I am an admin on the relevant jira board and can't assign to anyone but myself. Moreover, until few days ago I was able to assign one type of tickets and wasn't able to assign other types. Now I can assign anything.
