Unable to enable remote JMX for Jira

Hi,

I am unable to enable JMX in JIRA, when i add below parameters in setenv.sh file. i unable to shutdown jira. 

export CATALINA_OPTS="-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=XXXX -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=false -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl=false" -Djava.rmi.server.hostname=XXXXX"

can some one please assist.
