Unable to restore archived sub-tasks that have an active parent issue.

Jennifer Hall August 2, 2023 edited

I'm unable to restore 2 sub-tasks that are children of an Active Parent issue. The restore button is missing.  Any ideas? Again, the parent is active.   We are on  DC 9.5

Resolved this.  sub-task was linked to multiple issues.

Hi @Jennifer Hall

Usually, if you archive the Parent the Sub-tasks are also archived, and the same for restoring (hence why the button is not there).

If it's a single issue, could you archive the Parent, then restore it, and see if it restores the Sub-tasks at the same time?

Hi Steve, I fixed the issue. Thank you though!

No worries Jennifer!

Could you share how you fixed it, in case others have this issue again in future? :)
