Unable to update "Description" field through bulk update.

When trying to do a Bulk update in Jira, the description field is not listed. Can we do a bulk update on description field.

Hello Sundareswaran,

As you can check on the official JIRA documentation of Bulk changes, the functionality to bulk update the Description field is not supported:

- Modifying multiple issues

That being said, one of Atlassian customers has developed a method to bulk update the Descriptions of JIRA using Python with REST API calls. Please, check the link below for further details:
