Update an existing workflow and apply the changes to a project

Hi,

I have updated the existing workflow for my project and I have clicked on "Publish Draft".

My workflow is already associated to a Workflow Scheme and I don't need to make any changes there.

However, the changes that I made are not applied to my project.

Could you please advise what step I missed?

Thanks

is your workflow associated with the issue types in your project ?

it would be helpful if you can post screenshots.

Yes it is associated with issue types.

I have attached below the screen shots of the workflow and workflow schemes

thanks for the screenshots.

i can see that you have multiple workflows under 1 scheme i.e. you have

1. Ferzion workflow kanban

2. ferzion workflow kanban(bugs and qaf) etc

looks like you have different workflow for different issue type.

so if you have associated for e.g. workflow- A with issue type say "alpha" and worfkow-B with issue type "beta" then "alpha" issue type will use only workflow-A and similar for "beta" issue types.

when you said that it is not workign , are you sure you are testing for a correct issue type.

does it make any sense. let me know. thanks

Thanks.

Yes I confirm that I am checking the correct issue type

  • “Fewzion Workflow Kanban” is associated to “Improvements”
  • I have updated the “Fewzion Workflow Kanban” (see steps 3.4 and 3.5) however when editing an improvement, I can’t see the updated version of this workflow.

aah thats strange. you should be able to transition to Design - pending review.

can you click on the link that says Workflow and see which one it opens ?

can you try in other browser ?

if all fails i would suggest raise support ticket with Atlassian.

regards

The problem partly self-resolved itself.

The only problem remaining is that for the same Jira issue, Jira displays a different status depending on which view I use to display the issue. (see attached screen shots).

The problem occurs both on Google Chrome and Edge.

Definitely sounds like a bug. 3743-1.png3743-2.png
