Updating Features Based on Story Status

Hi,

I want to implement a rule to update a Feature to In Progress as soon as the first story linked to that feature moves to in progress.

I am ok building the rule but have run in to a problem. The Features and Stories are in different projects, when I create the rule the scope field defaults to the current project and does not give me the option to  select multiple projects. Therefore the rule triggers but will not action the Feature as it is in a different project.

I am admin on both projects but can only assume it is some restriction on my user. Does anybody have any idea why i would be restricted in this way?

Hello @RIchard Gwatkin 

The feature or option that you need here is 'Global Rules'. The option is available under Global Administration.

I would suggest you reach out to your instance admin for this.

Please note, Global Rules have limitations on the number of executions based on your instance subscription like Standard or Premium or Enterprise; all have a different counts of executions available per month.
