Jira 5 does not work on Java 8, so no.

But you can install multiple versions of Java on a server if you need to.  Just  make sure Jira still uses a supported version.  (Or upgrade Jira of course - 5 is way out of support and has known security issues)

Thank you, I need to upgrade Java 8 because outlook will no longer support TLS below 1.2 and that is not supported in Jira 5.2 or am I wrong?

So is there any options other then upgrade Jira?

You can turn off TLS 1.2 and below in Java 7 (and enable it in 8 if you still have uses for it).  Upgrading Java is not necessary to make Outlook work.
