Upgrade Failing

Hello.

I am trying to upghrade Jira 4.4.1 to Jira 4.4.5.

I have already installed java jdk and set JAVA_HOME variable.

When I run the Jira 4.4.5 installer I get error. in the log I get this:

Can you let us know what version of the JDK you installed was?  This could be an issue with a 32bit vs 64bit - can you try using the alternative version of Java?

I have installed java version 1.6.0_30.

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (Build 1.6.0_30-b12).

Java Hotspot(TM) 64-bit Server VM (build 20.5-b03, mixed mode).

Hi there, 

 

It looks like it - the version you listed doesn't match the version that Jira is trying to use. 

 

Can you make sure that JAVA_HOME is set correctly: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA044/Installing+Java ?

 

You may need to restart the server for the value to be set correctly.
