User set up a subscription for a group, the user is inactivated, does the subscrition work?

A user (former admin) set up subscriptions for groups. The user has since been inactivated. Do the subscriptions still work?

Yes, the subscription should still work, it is tied to the filter, not the user/admin that created the subscription. You can follow this KB to check that the email has been sent for an existing subscription.
