Using Scrum board as the First Tool for Scheduling

I am a new Portfolio user and am impressed by its scheduling capabilities. At the same time, I would like to keep the planning activities primarily in the team's hands. The teams use the Sprint backlog for planning their sprints for a PI. When I import the Sprint board into Portfolio, Portfolio does its own scheduling and slots work into sprints based on its *(good) logic.

1. While this is all good, is there no option to see the plan that the team created, even if it is crude, directly within Portfolio and without Portfolio applying its own scheduling mechanism?

2. I would also like to see the difference between what portfolio recommends and compare to what the team has planned and what is slipping compared to a baseline. Ideas?
