Version Start date and end dates can be changed anytime. Can we set any restrictions?

Version Start date and end dates can be changed anytime. Can we set any restrictions like

1. Configure such that one cannot the change the dates once set

2. Or only few authorised people are able to change means we make it permission oriented

3. Or ANy changes in dates of version are recorded for audit purpose.

On a small note: There is a feature request about having audit logs for version changes

Hi Shampa,

Unfortunately there is no way to restrict that. Any user that has the JIRA 'Project Administrator' permission in the relevant project can create versions in Greennhopper.
