What directories need to backedup to restore Jira ?

I want to know what are the directories which i should take backup of in order to retain my Jira instance configuration, My jira instance is locked out and i have tried to give all the permissions and deleting the lock file but it doesn't work so i would like to reinstall my jira local. 

Do i need to take backup of installation Directory as well or just backup of Home directory and Database directory is fine ?
