What happens to a JIRA user when deactivated in LDAP?

Questions is about setting an LDAP (active Directory) user to inactive - does this have any effect on the display (in users) and license count in JIRA?

Hi Anne,

Actually it is better to disable a user vs delete their account so you can keep a history.

Regarding license no an inactive user doesn't count against the license(under user management in JIRA when you type the user name make sure the box by active is unchecked).
