When trying to access a screenshot/attachment link when NOT logged into JIRA I am getting an Oops errror

Rizwan Rizvi January 30, 2015

I have a link sent over for an attachment/screenshot in one of the JIRA issues. When trying to access that link I get an Oops error.

If I access the same link while already logged into JIRA, it works fine.

I expected JIRA to take me to login page if not already logged in and then redirect once I am in to the screenshot

Any idea anyone?

Hey Rizwan,

That's the default behavior. Since it's a direct link, it should give you an oops error. If you share the page that has the attachment, then you'll receive a login screen.

Cheers,

WZ
