Where does the issue collection logging go?

I have a JIRA user who is asking for access to our JIRA issue collection logs. I'm not sure where

that information is logged to (catalina.out)?

Should I turn on logging to this module in order to get more logging for the issue collector?

com.atlassian.jira.collector.plugin.rest.TemporaryAttachmentsResource

-Thanks

Maggie

FYI:

I got my answer from Atlassian support:

Hi Maggie,

Thank you for contacting Atlassian Premier Support.

Activities happening in JIRA system will also be log in atlassian-jira.logand you can see this file under $JIRA_HOME_DIRECTORY/log/. You can also turn on extra logging for Issue Collector via

  • Administration > Logging & Profiling > under the Default Logger section , look for "com.atlassian.jira.collector.plugin.rest.TemporaryAttachmentsResource"
  • Then you can select the log level (INFO, TRACE,WARN,ERROR,FATAL,OFF) for this package.

Please let us know if you have additional questions on this.

Best Regards,
Jason Liwag
