I need to attach a custom css stylesheet to my jira environment. I have the stylesheet ready to go. How do I add it to Jira so that it gets applied globally across all projects?
Or, alternatively, is there a field in Jira where I can add my custom CSS styles so that they will in turn get embedded into the existing global css stylesheet?
Many people utilise the Announcement Banner for this but the cleaner option is to create a simple plugin which includes the CSS file for atl.general and atl.admin contexts.

Thanks for the answer Sean. We've been using the announcement banner for this sort of custom code in the past and just thought there may be a more appropriate place for adding benign css code.
We have has issues in the past with adding malformed code to the banner where it basically breaks the site and we have to go into the database to clear it out.
For the Jira Dev Team:
It would be nice to have a hook into a custom css (loaded into the head) and custom .js (loaded into the footer) that we could use with confidence that it would not require a database edit if things go wrong.
