Why do I only see a small selection of Workflow Conditions

Lukas Siegele February 27, 2024

We are running Data Center 9.12.2

When trying to add a condition to a Workflow Transition, I am only presented with a small subset of options when compared to the List found here: Configure advanced issue workflows | Atlassian Support

Specifically I would like to use the "Value Field" Condition, which is not available to me.

Thanks for any input!

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Permissions do not stop you selecting workflow functions, if you can edit a workflow, then you can add any available function you want.

I suspect you do not have the apps that provide the conditions you are looking for (or, if they are installed, then one of your admins have turned specific features off)

Thank you for your Reply!

I think I found my problem:
The documentation I was referencing is for JIRA Cloud Administration and we are running Data Center.

Hi @Lukas Siegele

Welcome to the community!

You are a project administrators and in order to update conditions, validators, and post functions, you need to have system admin permissions. I recommend you contact the system admin for the changes you want to make.

Regards,

Fabian
