Zendesk External ID to JIRA Field

Is there a way to sync the Zendesk External ID to a field in JIRA?

Hi Josh,

I'm not sure if this can be synced using the default Zendesk for Jira plugin. But as I mentioned in an answer to your other post on the community it should definitely be possible using Exalate.
