autocomplete multi select rendered list

I have looked online for a few hours and tried to fix this:

I am looking to have a multi select autocomplete rendered list. Essentially i want to be able to type an organization name into a field and have it auto-complete based on a predetermined list that I have put together and i want to be able to have multiple items in this field (ie: multi select). It's like what this "ask me a question" page has here for labels where i type one, it auto completes, i type a "," and can type the next value in but i want the labels to have been predetermined so you can't add something that wasn't input into the multi-select list. 

I created a custom field type of multi-select and went to the field configuration but can't find anywhere where i can click renderers under that. Can someone please help?
