can customer edit fields after they submitted new ticket via portal?

I would like to allow the customer to edit fields which they already set for example the priority or perhaps other customized fields. A good use case is customer submits high priority ticket then desires to change priority after ticket is submitted.

At the moment you'll need an app to do this.

 

You can see this other community thread Customer Transitions with screens in Jira Service Desk which lists the app that provides this functionality as well as the existing requests in Atlassian's Jira to implement this.
