×Hi !
we are running 2 different jira instances in 2 different servers in 2 different versions :
- An internal instance in 4.4.5
-An external ( client) instance in 6.2.5
I would like to know if it possible to link these instances even if they are in different version.
the link we need is, at the moment, pretty simple :
when an issue is created in the external instance, another one is created in the internal instance.
when the status changes in one of the issue, the statut of the other issue also change, depending on the first change.
I read
--> https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/ATLAS/Federating+JIRA+-+Managing+Multiple+Instances
and i saw
Jira to JIra issue copy plugin,
https://developer.atlassian.com/display/JIRADEV/JIRA%20Remote%20Issue%20Links
and that makes me think it is possible, but i'm not sure about this.
can someone tell me if it's possible in one way or another ?
Thx.
i'm sorry to say that a paid solution won't be possible for us.
i need to look for a free way to do this. but mostly i need to know if it's even possible :)
You may want to take a look at this (http://www.go2group.com/products/go2group-connectall/). :)
