custom filed editable only for specific user

I have a created a issue template on my Jira.

Some fields will input from specific user, and some other fields from other users.

I want to make fields editable only for users that have fill the custome field.

How I can do that ?

Hi there,

This is not something possible by default in JIRA, but you can definitely use a third-party plugin, such as the Script Runner (which incorporated the features of the former Behaviours Plugin), to achieve this.

If you do want to do this with JIRA's native features, you could possibly set up a new transition in the workflow that only this user will be able to trigger, and associate a screen with those fields on the transition.Then remove those fields from the default 'Edit Issue' screen.
