custom user multiple choice

I have a field that can contain multible values. these values are user value. I want to add a field where user type his choice and this choice will be added to a list. Is there any custom field or any way to do this.

Labels is the closest you'll get without writing a new field to handle this.

Lists of options are controlled by administrators, there's no standard fields that allow users to add options (other than labels). Despite a number of people asking for this sort of thing, I've yet to see any plugin make it into the marketplace.

Also, think it through - if you want people to be able to add random data to a list, then what's the point in having a controlled list? You might as well just use a text box. It would be nice if the text box suggested other values previously entered by other users... like a label field...
