The way we use jira is to create a clone per fix version introduced in the fix version field. To do this we have to manually clone the ticket as many times as fix versions with enter.
* Is there any way to tell jira to do this automatically, this is, scan the fix version and clone the ticket for each one of the fix versions?
* Anybody knows of any plugin that we can install that does this?
* Anybody knows how, or where we can get information on how other companies do this?
With 5.2 we'll implement this with webhooks.
Webhooks really takes jira to another level.
You coud write a script using JIRA Command Line Interface and the cloneIssue or createIssue .
