how to get the captured date and time of custiomfield got updated like edited in the transition

HI Team,

please help me out in how to capture update date and time if one custom filed get updated/edited or anything we want last updated time shows in other custom filed

please help me in this i tried through plugins i not possible  and suggets some script and i am not very familiar with groovy script
