how to import CSV file and update existing field values on JIRA

Kaushik Patel May 22, 2020

I need to update 1 or 2 fields on JIRA. But I have 50+ rows of these fields to update.

Hence, manually it is taking time.

Is there a way that those new updated values I store in CSV file and upload on JIRA?

If so, is there any specific format of CSV?

E.G. I need to update sub-task "Assignees" for so many sub-tasks. What information should I include in CSV besides sub-task issue keys

Thanks,

Kaushik.

Hi Pedro, thanks for the answer. The above link helps.

I find this link to be more pertaining to above issue. This Atlassian page explains comprehensive rules and process for importing.

Thanks,

Kaushik.
