how to make assignee field mandatory when text field is filled with text only

I tried. but it may be different for assignee field. 

I wrote server side behavior script on text field. and checked that text field is field is filled with text or not. once it get mandatory, unable to remove mandatory.

I guess setRequired is not working here.

Do you have a code to make mandatory field/optional field fields depends on text field value.

It would be better, if you produced your code. I do not have such code, it would take time to write it. It would be simpler to see your code and find problems with your code.
