how to restrict gadget access to certian user or group

how to hide or block the gadget from the logged in user who do not belong to certain group

Why don't you make a board restricted to a certain Group instead? and split your board in different boards for each group?

You can't do it without coding in the gadget to restrict things, and frankly, why bother?

As Ubisoft says, use the boards, filters and dashboards with the right security and it really doesn't matter what gadgets a user can see - the actual issue data is hidden from them

I have added the logic to find the logged in user and now I am trying to make gadget dsappear for the certain user
