how to restrict resolution field going from only one status/transition to other ?

hi all,

i have a workflow and when moving to "relesaed" status , we want to force users to add aresolution. i added a "transition view screen" because we want users to select the resolution field value. 

we want to move an item back from "released" status to "ready to release"( ready to release being t the status before released). we want i=the resolution to be changed back to unresolved (no user intervention) If i add a "transition view" screen then it would change for all statuses going to "ready to release"

is there a way to add thios using properties or something else ?

Add a Post Function on the transition back to "ready to release" that clears the Resolution field.

i did and it worked. for now, its okay.
