i have 5 stories and 5 epics in the same project which i want to be edited by jira admins (and to be seen by other users) and rest of the other epics and stories to be edited by other users.

How can i achieve this scenario?

Hello @Priyanka 

You can't, the permissions are for the entire project. So if you give the edit permission for one user it will be for every issuetype in the project.

You can restrict the edit and visibility with the security level but not the edition only.

May be there is some addon that will allow this (permission based on one label or customfield...)
