importing csv file into jira with comments.

Hi.

Need the comment formatting to be imported also.  So when a new line in the comment is started and new line will also appear in the comment once it is imported into jira.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

Use the same UTF-8 formatting to import comment. Anything you import to JIRA should be UTF-8 format only

Thanks Ranganath.  I have been using the UTF-8 formatting.  It still does not import the data in the comments field as formatted. However,  i have found that if i go into the csv file and manually format the comment column using the text formatting notation supplied by Jira, the resulting comment is formatted enough.
