is artezio kanban board plugin defunct?

This plugin would not update on our last upgrade and when we reached out to the company there was no response..

Our Kanban boards seem to be working fine without it (we disabled it in Prod). Is this now OOB Jira?

The marketplace says it is valid and I was able to download and install it in the 8.3 system I've got here.

Kanban boards are provided by Jira Software though, they don't need the Artezio app.  The app one adds more types of boards, so I suspect what you're seeing now is just the Jira Software Kanban board.
