I am currently running Jira Software 7.13.2

In the Addons i can see that the plugin "jira-clone-project-plugin" is currently disabled. 

Is this plugin required?

Hi Paul,

The add-on Clone Project for Jira is also not required. As Jira doesn't have a native tool to clone projects, this add-ons allows you to create a new project with all the settings from an existing project.
