Hi
I have a screen scheme that is shared by 20 Jira projects.
The administrators of the project want to be able to edit the screen even though it shared by these projects.
is the a way to do this without creating a scheme for each project?
regards,
Luvo
Hi @Luvo Kautah Ncibane ,
Yes, there is a way to do this.
1. Take a copy of shared screen scheme and apply your changes on the copied scheme. Also take copy of screens for which you want to apply the changes.
2. And for the specific project that you want to change the screen scheme, remove the previous screen scheme and attach the new screen scheme. Make sure that you are using the correct screen/s in the new screen scheme.
With this approach no other project will be disturbed.

Hi @Ramarao Gaggara {Appfire}
I did exactly what you said but I didnt help.
Thing here is that, if the screen scheme is only mapped to one project, the administrators of that project can edit the screens.
Once the screen schema gets shared by more than one project, the administrators lose their privileges to edit the screens.
I just want a way where it can be possible for these admins to edit the screens even if the screen schema is used by more than one project.
As a system administrator I can but I dont want to give them administrator/system admin rights.

Luvo
