mysql Db wasn't installed at utf8

Alex Samad YB May 17, 2012

Hi

Got issues with inserting stuff with utf-87 info into comments. found out my DB was created as latin-1..

I have changed the default char set to utf-8 now. But before i do an alter database on the database do I need to export the data and reimport

also have to do this for confluence as well

We have some documentation written up on this conversion, please have a look at the following: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Change+MySQL+Database+Character+Encoding+to+UTF8+During+Server+Migration
