pre and post checks - JIRA upgrade

Hello,

I have recently upgraded my instance from 8.5.0 to 8.13.0 and want to know other than checking for addons functionality what other checks needs to be made.

What should be the upgrade post checks.

We run through all the basic functions of the tool:

• Create tickets
• Create projects
• Sync Users
• Move tickets through workflow
• Link tickets together
• Check integration with Bitbucket, Confluence, and Testing tools

We always end the validation by reviewing the logs. If the logs are free from errors we are confident that the update was successful.
