project or board permissions

Hi everyone,

we want to add a user to our jira with limited rights.

We are not sure wich is the better way to integrate the user.

Should we give him only rights on a certain board (he should not be allowed to see the other boards in this project) or to create a new project with a new board and give him rights on the project.

What are the advantages or disadvantages ?

Hi @Dennis Bursy 

You first need to give permission to view the project. This is managed by the Browser Project permission in your permission scheme. Board will be viewed by anyone who can also access the saved filter on which the board is based.
