remove assignee based on workflow step without post-function

Hi there

I want to remove the assignee from JIRA issues in one project when they move from In Progress/Validation -> In Review.

I don't want to do this with a workflow as a number of other projects use my project's workflow and I don't want to create a custom workflow just for this one tweak.

We have Groovy Script Runner and JIRA Misc Workflow Extensions installed.

Any help would be much appreciated!

You can use a listener... it will be a generic event but you can check the actual action in the event.
