want to use scriptrunner to send email when a watcher is added

I need to generate a notification when a watcher is added to an issue.

I have been trying to find a solution using the scriptrunner listener or behavior but no luck. Is it possible since adding a watcher doesn't generate an event?

Can you please help me with the script?

We are running JIRA V6.4.6

Note: I tried to generate a support issue in he Adaptavist helpdesk but I am not getting the email with the ink to reset my password

Not sure why that that would be useful but could you not have a listener on IssueWatcherAddedEvent, and send mail from that?
