Did you mean:

why can't I set global transition 'any'

Stefan Peruzzi April 27, 2021

I cannot check the transition to 'any' as described in https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver0813/advanced-workflow-configuration-1027138145.html#Advancedworkflowconfiguration-customisingtransitionsonviewissue under 'global transitions' when I define a new step or add a status to this step.

We do use  Jira 8.13 for server and I do have the Jira-administrator permission - so I'm really puzzled.

thx for your help

Stefan

Hi @Stefan Peruzzi,

In te diagram view of your workflow, just click on the status you want to allow transitions from any other status to and then from the popup window select the option allow all statuses to transition to this one

Hope this helps!

thx Walter,

of course I realized this a couple of hours after I posted my question

I simply am/was so used to using the text view with workflows that I didn't think oft that for a long time ...
