I have recently been trying to test out more of the advanced Loom features, like setting up automatic meeting recording and notes created in Confluence.
But I'm getting a bit tripped up between what I think I've configured with the desktop app, and what I've setup on the web.
My company has three different workspaces, and I don't have the same permissions in all of them. I was trying to wrap my head around how this works; are workspaces kind of like Jira or Confluence instances? These get different urls, which makes it easier to understand you've changed environments, but is that kind of the idea for Loom workspaces?
When I use the desktop app (most of the time) it would seem that my videos (mostly??) go to one workspace, and when I log into loom.com I end up in a different workspace. I see in the doc it's possible to transfer videos between workspaces if they are in your personal space, but I'm not sure how to check if videos are in my personal space.
Anyway, with all this I apparently linked Loom twice to my Google Calendar, and when I had a meeting today TWO Loom AI agents joined the meeting to take notes 🤦♀️
I have content across multiple workspaces, and I'm looking for tips on how to better organize things and what to check on the desktop app and on loom.com to avoid videos being dispersed across multiple workspaces and accidentally configuring things twice.
Are there any pros or cons of trying to migrate videos between workspaces?
Hey Laura! It sounds like you need to change your default workspace. I recorded a Loom for you!
