Atlas CRM Cloud: What do I loose if i Export/Delete/Update/ReImport all my contacts and companies

I really like Atlas CRM Cloud product and we have been using it for a while in my support team.
However the sales department is using another CRM solution and they definitely wont migrate.

The only solution I see for now is to make sure both data base are synced given that data entry/update is done by the Sales on the other CRM.

Atlas CRM Cloud doesnt have an API so until this comes out i was wondering what would happen to all my linked issues, linked companies and linked/synced contacts if i :

  • Export to CSV all companies and contacts from Atlas CRM
  • Delete all companies and contacts from Atlas CRM
  • Update the exported CSV (with my own scripts)
  • Re import the updated CSV

If you are looking for a concrete use case: As a support team I need to know if our customers are still under maintenance. The sales teams manage maintenance renewal. They wont input their update in 2 different CRM solutions. Today it is another CRM tomorrow it could be from another source, subscription website.

Hi Jacques,

If you would do this, Atlas CRM would create new companies and contacts. These new companies and contacts are not linked to any if your issues.

When you link issues to these companies and contacts, you would lose the links the next time you go through the export/delete/update/reimport flow.

Unfortunately there's no good solution for what you're trying to do.
