It looks like Atlas CRM only allows one level of a company. In Salesforce (which we are trying to migrate from) I can have a parent company. There's lots of times we deal with internal departments separately on contracts and we divide them up into different accounts under the parent company.
Is there a way to do that in Atlas?
Thanks!
Hi Anthony,
Atlas CRM currently does not have a proper way to assign a parent company. We do have a couple of votes for this feature request, I'll add yours to it.
If we would add the option to create a parent company, how would it be different from a regular company? For example: Atlas CRM allows you to link issues to a company profile. Would you expect these issues to also show up in the parent company profile?
Thank you,
Maarten
P.s.: A workaround for now could be to add a 'parent company' field to the template. You could add the name of the parent company, if this is enough for you. Otherwise, you could paste a link to the parent company in Atlas CRM and it will have all the features of a regular company.
I don't know if this will work, however. It depends on how you would like to use the parent company.
Hi @Anthony Polakos,
I don't think you can do this at the moment with Atlas CRM. It's a bit more limited than Salesforce unfortunately, and many features are not present.
You can however try to contact their support and ask for this feature to be added in the future: https://avisi-support.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/10
Let me know if you have any questions,
