Blocking issues

Hi, 

I want to block an issue type from transitioning to DONE until another issue type is not done. Both issues are running on separate workflows. Is it possible or not?

Hi Nikola,

with plain Jira, this is not possible. If you use the Jira Workflow Toolbox app (there might be others also), you can use a workflow condition that checks, if a linked issue (issue link type is important) has a certain status.

You can also use JMWE for JIRA Server for that.

However, there is no equivalent option for JIRA Cloud, unfortunately, due to limitations of JIRA Cloud.
