How can I tell (or am I notified?) if a user follows my profile on Atlassian Answers?

How can I look at the list of my followers here?

Hi,

Indeed you are right, currently it is only possible to see who I am following, but I can't see who is following me (sorry for my mistake, I tried testing it by Unfollowing someone I knew that was also following me, and the person was still on the list, but it happens I forgot to click on "Update").

Hi,

You can check who you are following and who are following you by clicking in your photo icon at the top bar of Atlassian Answers and going to Settings > Following. Also at Settings > Notification Settings you can manage the notifications you want to receive, however it seems there is no option to receive a notification when someone starts following you.

I believe you are incorrect.

Some one just told me he followed me (I have coordinated this with him) however the Settings > Following section does not tell me I have a new follower.

The Settings > Following section only mentions this:

When someone you follow posts an answer, question, or comment, we'll send you an email notification.

You are not following any other users.

So there is no mention on anyone following us. Are you sure when people are following us it comes up here as well???

Yes go ahead with adding the notification option when some one follows. It would be an improvement.
