Can i synchronize the priority of a task?

We automatically create linked issue if an issue has a specific status. On a later state the priority of the origin ticket is changed. Is it possible to automatically set the status of the linked issue to the same as the origin one?

Hi Daniel,

Yes that should be fairly straightforward with Automation for Jira.   You simply need a rule like this:

• Trigger: Field value changed with priority selected
• Related issue branch with linked issues selected
  • On this branch edit action and set the priority to 'Copy from trigger issue' (you need to hit the '...' menu next to the field in the edit form to get the copy actions)
